I came to Manhattan from England to work in corporate New York for a few months...walking to the office one morning I sidestepped a porter hosing down the street, when a gruff voice growled, "HOLD THE HOSE - DON"T GET THE LADY"S FEET WET!"  So I fell in love and had a beautiful son. Normally they say the rest is history, but it was to be the beginning of a very different story...one which has kept me in NYC for nearly 20 years and led me to writing many other stories...
